vintage opportunities

i snagged a rare opportunity to accept a last minute invitation to go thrift shopping with rich yesterday morning (thankyou katie). you know..., our usual stops.

first stop... the main st. vincent de paul, then on to the community thrift store, finally stopping at the salvation army. this BIG little gem sure was fun to play, looked pretty good and was in a red crushed velvet lined faux alligator case. but was $185. the last thing my wife said to me prior to departing the house was something about "don't buy anything big". after some consideration and attempted haggling i left the accordion behind.

but i did score a really sweet 1960's era green cowhide wallet with places for pictures and a pre-printed place for his sizes, her sizes, credit card record, emergency phone numbers, etc. they sure don't make things like they used to.
