liz and her shop

why is it that some stylists can cut your hair once (or once a year in this case) and give you the best f***ing haircut each time and do it in a half hour. while others gab on the phone, take too long and just never seem to get it right. this is liz. she rock's. this is liz's shop and scooter too. enjoy the show.

ch ch ch ch changes

when i come to nebraska it's great to see how some things have changed and how other things, places and people make me feel like i have never left. sometimes i don't know which is better because they are both so good.

darn the luck

as if the 4inches of wet snow wasn't enough yesterday morning, check out what the snow plow guys did last night to the sidewalk outside my house. man...my back's hurtin just looking at that.

it's a snow day

no school today for katie and early off work for cassie, mike and i. made up the not-so-early wreckin crew that headed up for what should have been a truly spectaculor day on the hill. as it was, it turned out to be one of those "a bad day on the hill is better than a good day at work", kind of days, ... thank god the bar was open.
