i'm stoked 2

as i'm sure most of you know, ah...who am i kidding. ALL of you know i'm a giver. so when they announced free ski day/ canned food drive this year for today, i said to myself. "myself, if the snow is really good... dammit. i'm going". god i love free ski day.

i'm stoked

just got the new issue and i gots to say. thankyou the skateboard mag staff for doing a great fucking job, once again. also, the cliche video is too good to be free. glad to see the frogs bringin' it home.

video days

ok... so new addition to the band as you can see. the "falls-into-2-peices-dried-out-trumpet", played here by (contributor) george, really gives "the shed" that oh,so.... unique sound, that only 5 untrained musicians can accomplish. also we made a music video during this latest rehearsel, the song's name is "get outta' my house (it's a squirrel)". unfortuneately the director is having trouble with distribution right now and the industry mags are already deeming it a "rare" EP. that totally sucks. perhaps i can hook you up with a copy though. price is negotiable.

new v. old

these guys "rock", or should i say "grass"

these guys don't

so the other night kdub and i went with some friends to see the hackensaw boys a bluegrass band extraordinaire from virginia that you may or may not have heard on npr. they were everything i wanted in a bluegrass band, they were raw, there were lots of gaps and hootin' and hollerin'. they getty-upped and went. now they were just the opener for railroad earth, same instruments (almost) as the hackensaw boys, but... in a word, well a hyphenated one, hippie-jam. polished and studio perfect is no way to play a banjo, mando, and for christs sake don't play the fiddle like a gosh darn violin! i mean it! well that's all i have to say, and that's already too much.

"It's Ronnie's birthday totoday! It's 21:00, and when you get to the gates of the Kibbutz, you call Ilay (05455208494,099524376) to get further instructions how to maneuver between the cows to the needed place It's in Ilay's parents' house, not his.
